REQUIREMENTS
FAME
is a one-credit S/U course, for which you will receive a grade on your Emory
transcript.
Everyone
is required to attend all officially scheduled FAME meetings, with NO MORE THAN
ONE EXCUSED ABSENCE
(notification of absence to be acknowledged by instructor in advance). An excused absence involves
an unavoidable conflict with an official Emory activity you are participating
in, such as a class or lab, and may need to be made up by doing an additional
extra activity (see next item).
Extra
activities: everyone will also be required to go to one approved extra session
(see list), plus any makeups, and to post a brief (2 paragraph) report/response
about the activity in our FAME LearnLink conference WITHIN 3 DAYS after the
session. Makeup for excused absence will consist in doing one additional extra
activity. This requirement should be completed by the end of October.
That's
all the requirements—please, everyone stick to them!
