welcome.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Emory University. My research interests include international conflict and security, peacekeeping, mediation, the prosecution and termination of civil war, and statistical methods. I am currently working on my dissertation which focuses on the causes and consequences of rebel group behavior during conflict, in particular their splintering. My other current research projects include an examination of the determinants of third-party conflict management onset and success using a political cover framework (with Kyle Beardsley), the ability of peacekeepers to attract foreign direct investment (with Jeffrey Kucik), and the consequences of leadership turnover on civil wars (with Andrew Kirkpatrick and Carleen Graham). You can find out more about my current and past research and teaching through the menu above.
