The following Basic Skills list was created by the former CaTS Coordinating Group in order to identify a level of knowledge that all Bib Gateway Services staff should be expected to share. The anticipated outcomes were: (1) to develop a broader understanding of the work in the division; (2) to reduce the number of referrals; (3) to provide cross-training, and (4) to provide baseline knowledge for new staff.
