Welcome to Pendragon Portraits Over the years, many of us have developed alter-egos whose identities we assume at Renaissance or Middle-earth-themed events. We have woven new personas that allow us to live in the times of Camelot, the Shire, Rohan, Imladris, or Gondor: personas that embody our deepest yearnings for ourselves. We collect clothing, armour, jewelry and weapons that help us to become these very specific individuals. And although photography can remind us of the events we attend, it can never truly capture the soul of who we are on our imaginative sojourns. In olden times, when folk of noble birth or of great renown wished to be remembered to themselves and to future generations, they sought out skilled artists who could capture their likenesses in paint. And these portraits oft placed their subjects in realms and circumstances that were dearest to them. We would like to offer you an opportunity to have your own portrait cast into oils in the traditional manner of old. The details of the setting you desire, and the stance and circumstances can be decided entirely by you, or can be left to our artist; but the ultimate end result will be an archival oil painting that will last for generations.
