"Círdan" Oil on canvas, 21"x13" wide. Artist Commentary: I spent Saturday at the Grey Havens. I set my easel by the stone quay and tried to render rainbow hues as the sun sank. With last light lingering beneath cuffed clouds, Círdan came to water's edge and gazed long into the western gloaming...gleaning tidings, perhaps, from that realm which is forever hidden from mortal men.
