"After the Flood..." Oil on canvas, 10"x16" wide. Artist Commentary: After the attack of the Ents on Orthanc and the Wizard's vale, all fires were quenched and all of the filth of war was washed away, once again leaving the valley clean and new. In this painting, I'm exploring how Orthanc would have appeared before Treebeard and the other Ents set about transforming it into the Treegarth of Orthanc.
