"The Twitch Upon the Thread" Oil on canvas, 8"x10" wide. Artist Commentary: In this fairy tale image, a young girl is flying at night, pursuing a butterfly. They are passing over a church, and a star shines brightly behind them. The title is a reference to G. K. Chesterton, and to the power of Christ to bring back any wanderer, however lost, from the brink of destruction with just a "twitch upon the thread" that binds them to Christ's salvation.
