Artist Commentary: This cover image was developed for the British Tolkien Society for the 2007 Oxonmoot celebration, and specifically for the "Oxonmoot Information" (OI) booklet that all attendees receive. Although I've not seen the final layout, I've been assured that several of my other sketches are also included within the booklet. This year's event was purported to celebrate J.R.R. Tolkien reading his works to his children, but I felt inclined to substitute a friendly hobbit for the venerable don in this cover image.
