"Adam's Grave" Oil on canvas, 16"x10" wide. Artist Commentary: There is a legend that, after the death of Adam, the Archangel Michael instructed Eve to plant a branch of the Tree of Knowledge on his grave. From this branch grew the tree that Solomon moved to the Temple garden. It was later discarded and thrown into the pool of Bethesda. There it remained until it was taken out to be fashioned into the Cross.
