"Nativity" Oil on canvas, 14"x11" wide. Artist Commentary: This is a somewhat fairy tale-like image of the Virgin and Child. The imagery is medieval, as are the symbols of ox, marigold, and white rose. I was hoping for a "perfect blend" of sacred and "fairy tale" in this piece...something that could resonate my deep belief in the "True Myth" of Christianity.
