"The Baptism of the Lord" Oil on canvas, 14"x11" wide. Artist Commentary: This piece was one of a series commemorating the events of the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. The complete series is ongoing. In this image, Christ is immersed in the waters of Baptism, seemingly swooning in the currents as the lights of heaven play through the waters of the Jordan river. The "Fisher of Men" is surrounded by brightly coloured symbols of his ministry.
