"Cerulean Dragon" Oil on wood, 24"x24" wide. Artist Commentary: This oil on wood wildlife silhouette depicts a golden dragon in flight, with sky blue filtering through and reflected on its great wings. In some circles, golden dragons are believed to be "good", whilst most other coloured dragons are supposed to be inherently evil. I fall on the side of dragons being wicked, sly, and cunning as a rule. I don't discount the possibility of a truly converted and repentant dragon...only that such a beast would, I expect, be extremely rare in a world where dragons are already remarkably scarce on the ground.
