DEAR FAMILY MEMBER(S):

I am most happy to be hosting our Family Reunion for you, here in the Queen City (Charlotte, North Carolina).

As I reflect over the years since first meeting all of you, I have come to realize that God had a very special plan for me.  In His wisdom, He knew that I was a missing link in this great family.  I must say, the acceptance, love and friendship displayed by everyone was indeed a blessing in my life.

I want to thank all of you for your calls, prayers and thoughtfulness during my recent illness.   In this complex, world of today, I can testify the things most important in life are faith, family and true friends.

Margaret Miller said something at the “2004 Family Reunion” in Detroit about needing to humble ourselves more with a change in attitude and b e more tolerant and less intolerant to and with each other.

Love of family is the greatest gift that we can give each other … Let’s take some time and get to know one another.  Although we may be different; it’s okay, we won’t know or understand those differences until we embrace each other with patience and understanding.  You can learn from me as I learn from you and we all come together and learn from each other.  This is Family (Joyous) Reunion.

During the month of July, you will receive a second letter that will provide you with the dates, assessment cost, hotel room rates, and itinerary of events for the reunion weekend.

May God bless each and every one of you.

Your Hosts,

Willie & Jerrie Albert
