Max at Three Months

April 25, 2002 (via e-mail)

To my utter amazement, Max is officially 3 months old and unofficially weighs 15-16 pounds! He's still as happy and content as ever -- although at times he appears to be teething. He also has begun to drool and blow bubbles, which are not my favorite of his accomplishments. He is also laughing and cooing and reaching for his toys -- those accomplishments I'm more proud of! He is up for longer periods and has a greater attention span which makes playing a lot more fun. The weather has been gorgeous here the last few weeks so we've spent a lot of time outdoors. (And, since every stranger I meet asks -- no he still doesn't sleep through the night. Although, Max and I had a long talk this morning about the fact that many people believe that at 3 months of age a baby does sleep through the night and I explained to him how I would be appreciative of such an accomplishment. We'll see if that works -- I'm not holding my breath.) All of the many pictures I'm attaching were taken in the last few days.

Hope you are all doing well!!
