Max is Five Months Old

Max turned 20 weeks on Thursday and by date is 5 months on Monday -- to celebrate, on Friday, Max enjoyed some rice cereal. (He'll now have it every evening. I know this isn't quite as monumental as going off to college, but somehow I'm still amazed that he's already reached this milestone.) He seems to like eating solid food -- but even more he seems to like to touch it and to teethe on the plastic coated spoon. Nevertheless, he's patient and interested enough to finish his entire portion. He still enjoys his exersaucer a lot. Also, this past week his cousin Abby (accompanied by his Aunt Helen) came to visit -- Max very much enjoyed having someone closer to his size to play with (even if she is still a lot bigger). She was a big
help! He's also rolling over just about every time we put him down -- but he only roles in one direction so once he's made the flip from his back to his belly, he simply looks up with big round eyes in amazement! We're enjoying his "achievements" very much and wanted to share them with you. hope you all
