The Courthouses of Georgia is a documentary about grand old buildings located throughout the state. But, the story does not end with wood, bricks, and cement. This is a story about people: the interesting faces and events that have impacted and influenced communities, the state, and even the nation. Join us as we explore the historical, social, and architectural aspects of these often overlooked, but ever important structures.  At nearly two years in the making, Starsville Pictures has traveled to every county in the state of Georgia, gathering video footage and searching for the fascinating stories that surround these buildings.  This documentary will be hosted by Actor/Politician Ben Jones.  Photos from some of our shoots are at the bottom of this page.  To see a video preview, click below!

On April 4, 1998, a Tribute in Tazewell took place in Marion County. Proceeds went towards restoration of the old Marion County courthouse located in Tazewell. Tommy Irvin, Commisioner of Agriculture for the state of Georgia, was the grand marshal of the parade. If you would like to see a music video highlighting this event, click below!
