have a limited number of slots for 15-min presentations. Please send
your abstracts as DOC files in SfN format and indicate the number of
people attending from your lab. We would also welcome your nominations
for an invited speaker who has an established record of international
collaboration. Feel free to distribute this call to colleagues and
related mailing lists.

History of the meetings
Turkish neuroscientists have been gathering at the Society for
Neuroscience meetings since many years. This is the second time this
meeting is being held in a satellite workshop format where we have
scientific presentations. The first satellite meeting in 2009 of this
format was held in Chicago, IL, at the NortwesternUniversity, hosted
by Dr. Hande Ozdinler. You can find the full list of attendees and
their abstracts in the 2009 Program
Booklet. In the years prior to 2009, social meeting were held with
personal effort by several Turkish neuroscientists, including
Dr. Gonul Peker.
