Investigations in vascular biology to further understand
the contribution of oxidative stress and chronic infections
to the process of atherosclerosis. Further characterization
of the vascular and phagocytic NAD(P)H oxidases in order to
investigate a possible role of genetic polymorphisms in atherogenesis,
and with severity and extent of coronary atherosclerosis in
subjects with and without coronary artery disease.
